Ronnie Screwvala picks up 5% stake in Omkar Speciality for Rs. 7.5 Cr Venture Intelligence (25/04/2012)
Ronnie Screwvala, MD of Walt Disney India, has picked up a 5.09% personal stake (10,00,000 shares) in BSE listed firm Omkar Speciality Chemicals for around Rs. 7.5 crore.
Omkar, mainly engaged in the manufacture of specialty chemicals and intermediates for chemical and allied industries, reported a 36% growth in the last fiscal. The domestic market contributes 85% to its revenue with remaining coming from exports.
